San Francisco was bustling the last 10 days with the Web 2.0 conference. Opinno’s own Shaherose Charania moderated a discussion on the future of innovation for markets beyond Silicon Valley, and shared her thoughts on learning and leveraging the trends and developments in Silicon Valley.
For Shaherose, “Innovation is about solving problems, it’s not a whizbang light bulb. It’s a sustainable lighting system where the market has no way of running electricity. Or a connection to information by mobile phones where the internet is not prevalent. Or it’s a more efficient cloud-based security solution to manage the privacy of information where it before was open to threat. Innovation is solving real problems for real people.”
