Jorge Calderon, Founder, Springworks. Springworks is an incubator focused on funding minority and women founders.  He previously managed and founded hillView Ventures and was also the founding Director of the West Coast office for a small seed stage investment firm.  He served as a board observer for Carsala, Hodo Soy, and Lefora, and led the investment in Rate-it-all.  Mr. Calderon has also had roles in management consulting, banking and technology.  Jorge continues to be involved in civic and social organizations that empower disadvantaged groups.  Mr. Calderon is a University of Michigan graduate and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

Arif Janmohamed, Senior Associate, Lightspeed Venture Partners.  Arif joined Lightspeed in 2008 and focuses primarily on investments in the areas of infrastructure, communications, networking, and software. Prior to joining Lightspeed, Arif worked in the Corporate Business Development group at Cisco where he focused on opportunities in the unified communications and SaaS market. Arif holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada.

Saad Khan, Partner, CMEA Ventures. Saad is an innovator from R&D to entrepreneurship from Hollywood to Silicon Valley. He launched his first startup while still at Stanford, then worked at Walt Disney and subsequently at IBM Alphaworks. He then spent years at Garage Technology ventures working with Pandora, cFares, TripleHop (ORCL). He also founded the Film Angels, a angel network for indie film.

Leif Langensand, CFO, The Angels Forum.  Leif has over twenty years experience in financial services and process improvement consulting. Prior to joining The Angels' Forum Management Company, Leif held numerous finance positions at Charles Schwab, including CFO for Charles Schwab’s International division. Leif’s also worked at Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) where he was a consultant specializing in profitability measurement and improvement for Financial Services firms. He also has held management positions at First Nationwide Bank and Decision Dynamics.

Cedric Latessa, Investment Manager, Draper Fisher Jurvetson Esprit. Cedric has been involved in venture capital since 2000 and joined DFJ Esprit in 2007. Prior to this Cedric worked for BIP, a private equity fund investing in high tech companies, where he invested in companies such as TiGenix (IPO), Cima Nanotech, and 21Net. He also led a number of venture capital fund investments including Life Science Partners, Carlyle and Vertex. Cedric holds three masters' degrees in Business, Corporate Finance, and European Politics from Sciences-Po Paris and is fluent in English and Spanish, in addition to his native French.

Rebecca Lynn, Principal, Morganthaler Ventures. Rebecca began at Proctor and Gamble developing new products for Latin America. She joined NextCard where she lead Product Development.  She is an investor of several patents. She focuses on investments in Mobile, health 2.0, internet services and financial services.

 
Dave McClure is a Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur, startup investor, and blogger. He currently works for Founders Fund and coordinates FF Angel LLC, a seed-stage investment program; as well as fbFund REV, a micro-seed incubator program for Facebook-related startups. Dave is an investor in over 30 startup companies including: Mint (acquired by Intuit), SlideShare, Twilio, Credit Karma, UserVoice, Bit.ly, CrowdFlower, KissMetrics, TeachStreet, RichRelevance, Mashery, and Simply Hired, among many others.

Anurag Nigam, Vice President and Board Member, Sand Hill Angels, and the founder and CEO of BuzzBox.com, a social discovery platform that is in early alpha, and manages the Sand Hill Angels prescreen and deal management processes. He is an Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate from Carnegie Mellon University. He has been part of 6 different startups. He was part of the founding teams & leading ASIC efforts at Cerent Corp (bought by Cisco) and Siara Systems (bought by Redback Networks). Anurag switched into the consumer Internet space and was is an investor and founder of hi5.com, a profitable social networking site with over 20M users.

Carol Sands, Founder and Managing Member, The Halo Funds.  Carol has spent the last 36 years with investing, entrepreneurial, and/or large corporate institutions. In 1997, she incorporated The Angels’ Forum Management Company; the parent company for a revolutionary company in angel investing that organizes individual investors with previous entrepreneurial experience to invest as a single entity using a venture capital model for due diligence, mentoring, and board management, called The Angels’ Forum. In addition to her investment‑based responsibilities, Carol is the Chair of the Global Women’s Leadership Network, and a board advisor to Facing History and Ourselves.
