Technology Review en español and Technology Review em Português are the Spanish and Portuguese-language editions of the oldest technology magazine in the world, owned by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

In Technology Review, we present the most promising emerging and future technologies that impact society, the economy, politics, businesses and in the biomedicine, telecommunications, energy, information, Internet and new materials sectors.

In addition to the articles published in the English version of Technology Review, we offer original content in Spanish that is only available on www.technologyreview.es for our Spanish-speaking readers. These are identifiable whenever the author’s name which includes the ‘OPINNO’ stamp.

TR Events

In 2011, for the first time, we brought the first Spanish edition of the emerging technologies conference of reference, EmTech, to Europe. It is held in Spain under the name EmTech Spain. To read the entire series of articles we have published about the news was revealed by the participants at the conference; just access our special report ‘EmTech Spain 2011′.

TR Awards

From Technology Review en español, we are presenting – both in Spain and Latin America-TR35 awards to the 10 brightest young innovators under 35.  The candidates stand for opening new possibilities in the technology field with breakthrough ideas or are confronting important problems in a transformational way. 2011’s TR35 Spain set a quality precedent with the winning projects of 10 young entrepreneurial, research and technology talents. You can learn more about them at http://www.technologyreview.es/tr35spain. We are putting into place the first TR35 Mexico awards and will soon be launching the competition in Colombia, Argentina and Uruguay.
