Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR)
San Francisco, Cleantech and IT
Opinno works with growth stage ventures to launch in new international markets. We work closely with Research and Development Centers, Universities, founders of growth stage ventures, and technology companies to help them accelerate the growth of their spin-offs. To support the global expansion of a venture, we apply the methodology of co-entrepreneurship - providing a local entrepreneur, an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR), to lead the new local office or lead a round of funding.
EIRs are experienced professionals in a particular sector with strong C- level experience. They work closely with local Opinno teams to learn the details of a particular project and then become the leaders of that project as a stand alone spin-off. EIRs are usually engaged to lead the companies to a new market launch or in a venture capital round and often become CEOs of that particular venture.
Profile requirements: The candidate must have a strong entrepreneurial background, having launched two or more ventures in the same field in the past. Experience raising early stage (pre-series A or series A) venture capital rounds is desired. A strong network in the field will be valued.
Venture Analyst Intern
San Francisco
This opportunity is perfect for current Finance students or recent graduates looking for practical training and experience in the venture capital industry who have a passion for innovation, international markets and entrepreneurship.
You are someone who is actively involved in the Silicon Valley Startup scene, or desire to be. You have a strong, personable character to help build and maintain authentic relationships with key members of Opinno's network.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting industry trend reports to highlight innovation and startup opportunities
- Supporting the creation of various business models for venture clients

Social Media Analyst Intern

This opportunity is perfect for current Marketing students or recent graduates looking for practical training and experience in the networking, online marketing and social media field with a special passion for innovation, international markets and entrepreneurship.
You are someone who is actively involved in social media networks: blogs, Flickr, Myspace, Digg, Facebook, Squidoo, Twitter. You are have a strong, personable character to help build and maintain authentic relationships with key members of Opinno's network.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Carrying out social media reviews
- Researching blogs, networks, publishers and influencers for SEO and SEM opportunities
- Organizing information and assessment research into reports and presentations

An ideal candidate would be someone who is active in the Spanish entrepreneurial scene and who is passionate about innovation and cutting edge technology.
