Patricia Araque is our Community Director, Opinno Social, Spain
Patricia is very involved in the entrepreneurial scene in Spain. She is passionate about marketing, social media and open innovation in education. She has extensive experience in managing marketing and PR projects in several startups and franchise business in the sectors of telecommunications, retail, education, services, mass media and non profits organizations. Also, she was working for almost a year as professor in ESIC Marketing & Business School. In 2004, she bootstrapped her own business, and until now, she has led its growth in teaching English as second language to almost thousand students.
In parallel, Patricia is the CoFounder and President of Ellas 2.0, sister organization to Women 2.0 in Europe which has the goal of increasing the number of female entrepreneurs in tech.
Patricia has a degree in Advertisement an PR from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and holds a Master in Marketing and Sales from Instituto de Directivos de Empresa. In 2008, she was chosen to participate in Lidera, a Comunidad de Madrid project for developing leaderships skills in high potential women.
Wendi Zhang is our Head for Asian Strategy and Expansion, Boston
Wendi's training is in management science and mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She has a diverse set of experiences in entrepreneurship, international development, healthcare industry strategy consulting, finance, international management academic research, and the public sector. In the past, Wendi has worked in the Investment Banking Division and Global Capital Division of Morgan Stanley (New York, USA), the venture capital firm DFJ DragonFund (Shanghai, China), and the International Department of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce (Barcelona, Spain). She has also taught computer science at Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) and Xi'An Jiaotong University (Xi'An, China), conducted research on the political economy of China and India (Massachusetts, USA) as well as Singapore's entrepreneurship environment, and served as a cultural ambassador to Japan and Thailand under the Kawamura Fellowship program. Wendi can speak, read, and write English and Chinese with native proficiency, Spanish with near professional working proficiency, and Japanese with elementary proficiency.
Wendi is currently the Business Development Director of the $100K Competition semi-finalist non-profit organization One Earth Designs, an associate in the Consulting Division of Decision Resources, a member in the Board of Directors for the MIT Technology Fair, an advisor for the MIT China Development Initiative, and an officer for the MIT Class of 2009 Council.
Eli Rabek is our Analyst for Opinno Social, Spain
Eli's involvement in the world of entrepreneurship got a kick-start when he served as the co-president of BASES, the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students. At BASES, Eli he helped lead two of the largest university business plan competitions in the United States, awarding $100,000 to the best ventures coming out of the university. In addition to being in charge of the competition, he created alliances with international partners in Cairo (Egypt), Madrid (Spain) and Bombay (India). In the past, Eli has been a researcher for a General Motor's-sponsored study as well as a sustainable energy and economic development investigator.
Eli graduated from Stanford in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science and Engineering.

Milagros Pérez Diez is our Analyst, Spain
Mila is an English teacher from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN, Argentina) and is simultaneously studying at the Sampere Institute in Madrid. In addition to her career in languages, Mila has commercial experience in customer services for important companies such as Dell Computers Argentina, E.X.A.S.A and Hostería Los Notros.

Fernando Rodriguez is our Analyst, Spain
Fernando's past work involves evaluating business plans and technology feasibility proposals for international growth. He received his degree from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid in Industrial Engineering and in 2009 he earned his master´s degree in Industrial Technology and Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Fernando is in regular contact with Opinno's network in Chicago becoming an essential bridge between Spain and the Midwest of the United States.
Fernando Diaz is our Manager for Opinno Ventures
Fernando's past work focuses on the development and evaluation of business plans, technology validation and internationalization planning. Fernando finished his studies in Mechanical Engineering at the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid through a partnership with the Illinois Institute of Technology.
He has worked at the Foundation for the Promotion of Industrial Innovation in the @LIS program of the European Commission for Technology Transfer to Latin American Countries in monitoring the economic sustainability of technology transfer projects.
