Laura Sánchez

Laura is currently the Chief Sales Officer at Opinno in Madrid. She is responsible for developing and handling client relations in the countries where Opinno operates. Since 2009, she has led the Competitions team, launching the first Spain edition of the TR35 awards and other competitions for entrepreneurs (IBM SmartCamp and Spain CleanTech Open). Laura worked for more than five years in international business promotion agencies in Spain’s Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, specifically in the Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX) and the regional office in Madrid. In her last job as Investor Forums Coordinator in ICEX, Laura lived and worked in several countries around the world (Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Morocco, Egypt, India, China, etc.), assisting prominent Spanish firms with the development of international expansion projects. Laura has a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and supplemented her studies internationally at Skidmore College in New York and the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
