The MIT Enterprise Forum lands on Emtech Spain

Entrepreneurs that wish to make their dreams come true will have a go after the Emtech Spain conference this coming 22 and 23^rd of November. MIT’s emerging technology conference returns to Spain, bringing along MIT’s Enterprise Forum.  The latter will bring together the 20 best innovative and technology-based entrepreneurial projects, which will be selected by the organization, and the venture capital investors that are willing to jump in to the game of these companies.

It won’t be the first time that the investors will help with the development of the ideas of each project. They will also collaborate by offering the benefits of new technologies within their different areas of application. Mainly because the funding will come from entities that have an important background in the world of start-ups related to the Internet, web, mobile, information technologies, biotechnology and clean technologies, among other innovation areas.

The registration process opened this past September 12^th and participants will be able to enroll their projects until October 19^th. The documentation that the companies must present is their business plan and model, and an explanation of the project and the technology they are developing. After this deadline, the investors will choose the 20 privileged finalists, which will be announced on November 2^nd and will receive tickets to EmTech Spain (valued in 300€ each). After the conference, the finalists will have to thoroughly prepare in order to obtain the best funding, and rise above the other 19 competitors.

The Rafael Pinto Foundation, Gómez-Acebo & Pombo attorneys at law, The Innovation Foundation of Bankinter and the Everis Foundation are the event sponsors, whereas the forum session will be carried out by MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF).

“The development of an entrepreneurial culture and the promotion of talent, based on the entrepreneurial spirit of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology” is one of the objectives of the foundation, as well as the promotion of relationships between entrepreneurs “through the creation of a network of contacts in frame that allows an adequate business structure in Spain through the adequate combination of legal fiscal and labor incentives, among others”.

Therefore, it is expected that entrepreneurs and those interested in innovation and technology will be encouraged to participate in this event that will represent a win-to-win situation not only at a business level, but also in terms of company image and networking with other companies and investors.
