Operations Director

Your mission

Summary

This directorship position is responsible for creating and deploying the backbone processes and infrastructure to ensure an effective and efficient practice of Opinno´s activities (the "Opinno Way").   From creating the procedures to certify the right practices. Obtaining and endorsing external certifications. Collaborating with the international build-up process. Creating and deploying knowledge management processes and systems. Architecting the necessary platforms and technology infrastructure. And deploying and monitoring excellence in the use of all previous assets and capabilities.  

The position reports to Opinno´s CFOO (Chief Financial & Operating Officer)

Responsibilities

  • Blueprint Opinno´s main processes (Opinno Way): internal practices, public documents, certifications, platform architecture
  • Ensure operational excellence through internal process audit & compliance
  • Maximize effectiveness and efficiency through extensive process analysis, strategic goals setting and inter-departmental collaboration
  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of long-term operational plans, technology infrastructure and associated performance goals  
  • Work with Office Directors in the development of strategy operational plans
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
  • Collaborate with c-level management team in the build-up strategy and integration of new companies/franchises
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
  • Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs
  • Draw on relationships with external partners and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
  • Strategic thinking for transformation through innovation and long-term strategies boosting  continuous improvement.
  • Lead and maintain company’s certifications (ISO, Bcorp, 1% pledge)
  • Coordinator of the assigned employee who will manage Opinno’s knowledge databases.
  • Collaborate with CTO and oversee the implementation of technology solutions
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

Your profile Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Business administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Ten years of experience in operations department or project management from which 3 years in senior leadership roles
  • Mandatory experience in consulting sector
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (C2)
  • Essential dominance in digital platform architecture and transformation
  • Experience in analytics or relevant work history
  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
